Art On the Farm (#2)

This past weekend, I took some of my small experimental works on paper down to my Uncle’s farm in Pickaway County, Ohio. In this photograph, I have a few of them standing up out of the gravel of what is usually the creek bed (it is now a sand bar, due to the abnormally low water line much of the creek is dried up) of Deer Creek. As you will see in the next couple of posts, I arranged some of these pieces in different parts of the landscape and photographed them. I have been interested in taking these works out of the studio and putting them in nature. The contrast of something plastic and man-made in a natural environment is what interests me here.
