Resin Test #1: Fail.

Here are a couple of photos of my first resin test on a stretched canvas. It didn’t work. Here’s why: I used the wrong type of tape, and most of the resin seeped through onto the floor. As can be seen in these pictures, the canvas is now attached to the towel that I placed below it, which is now attached to the shoebox it was sitting on, which is now attached to the large envelope below that. It looks like if I want to salvage this canvas, I’m going to have to saw it out of this hardened mess…


And that, folks, is why it is called a test. Back to the drawing board….
