This is a painting I did for a fundraising event for the Columbus Museum of Art last month. The painting is a 36″ x 30″canvas in mixed media (spray paint, acrylic, gouache, charcoal and India ink). I was trying to capture the very brief time of day just before the sun goes down, when it is seemingly bright and dark at the same time. Part of the Columbus skyline can be seen in the background.
In the photos above you can see my painting on display at the event. There was a lot of good work there.
