Oil on Cardboard, 12″ x 19″. This is a study for a much larger painting that I am currently working on. The composition is nearly the same, but the scale is much bigger (8′ wide), the palette is broader (including more yellow ochre, some dark browns and a subtle variety of greens) and the level of detail is more precise.
